With Jeremy Maclin already inactive because of a shoulder injury, the Ravens had two more pass catchers go down in the first half of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
Starting wide receiver Breshad Perriman (concussion) and Maxx Williams (ankle) both left the field early, and were officially ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Williams went down first and limped off the field in obvious pain. He already missed the past three games because of an ankle injury.
His injury came after making a 6-yard catch that would have given the Ravens a first down at Chicago's 20-yard line. However, Williams fumbled as he fought for yardage, and Chicago recovered, keeping Baltimore off the scoreboard.
Perriman went down on the next drive, again after a gaffe. Flacco threw a great deep pass down the sideline, but it bounced off Perriman's hands as he went to the turf. As he went down, Perriman took a nasty knee to the helmet from a Bears safety.
The ball popped into the air and was picked off just before it hit the turf by diving Bears cornerback Bryce Callahan. Callahan returned it 52 yards to the Baltimore 20-yard line and Chicago scored with trickery on a halfback toss two plays later to take a 10-0 lead.
Chris Moore, a fourth-round rookie a year ago, replaced Perriman opposite Mike Wallace. He made his presence immediately felt, catching three passes for 44 yards in the first half, including a 17-yard reception along the right sideline.
Wallace, Michael Campanaro and Chris Matthews are the other wideouts. Campanaro dropped a first-down pass and Matthews stumbled in the back of the end zone on the Ravens' final offensive play of the first half.
