Big news, Ravens fans and burger lovers.
The Baltimore Ravens and Aramark will welcome Shake Shack to M&T Bank Stadium this season.
Yes, those delicious 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers, fresh-made frozen custard shakes and crispy crinkle cut fries will be ready for Thursday night's preseason opener.
The acclaimed modern day "roadside" burger stand will be located by Section 109. M&T Bank Stadium will be the first NFL stadium to feature Shake Shack, and it will be the burger joint's second location in Baltimore.
"I think it will be a great addition to the concession offerings we already have," said Senior Vice President of Stadium Operations Roy Sommerhof. "They're a great brand. They're in other stadiums and arenas and they do very well there. It will be a great experience for our fans."
The Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers), Citi Field (New York Mets) and Nationals Park (Washington Nationals) have all recently also installed Shake Shack in their buildings.
The stand will feature an assortment of Shake Shack classics, including the ShackBurger, 'Shroom Burger and Shack Stack (cheeseburger and 'Shroom Burger). For something sweeter, it will offer fresh-made frozen custard and an assortment of shakes. The Ravens hadn't previously had shakes in M&T Bank Stadium.
"They have a really good menu offering that fits with what we typically do but offers something new," Sommerhof said. "Their burger is a great burger and they have a lot of great options with it."
