Three former Ravens – OLB Terrell Suggs, G Marshal Yanda and DT Haloti Ngata – are among the 167 Modern-Era Players nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025. This is the first year of eligibility for both Suggs and Yanda.
A Screening Committee will reduce the list of nominees to 50 (plus ties, if any, for the 50th spot), and the results of that reduction will be announced in mid-October. The full 50-person Hall of Fame Selection Committee then will reduce the list to 25 Semifinalists later this fall. Another vote will create the list of 15 Finalists who will be discussed ahead of Super Bowl LVIX. During the meeting, Finalists will be trimmed from 15 to 10, then to seven. Committee members then will vote for five of the seven Finalists to choose the Class of 2025, which can consist of three, four or five Modern-Era Players.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025 presented By Visual Edge IT will be enshrined next August in Canton, OH.
