The Ravens have won their past 10 meetings against the Browns, tied for the longest active winning streak any NFL team has over an opponent.
But these aren't the same Browns as last year.
Here are five things to know about the 2013 Cleveland Browns:
1. All-new coaching staff
The Browns ushered in an entirely new coaching staff this offseason, led by Head Coach Rob Chudzinski. Chudzinski spent the previous two seasons as the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator. Chudzinski hired former San Diego Chargers Head Coach Norv Turner to lead the offense and Ray Horton to oversee the defense. Turner has brought with him more of a vertical, deep passing game. Horton has roots with the Steelers and has morphed the Browns into an attacking 3-4 unit similar to the one the Ravens have long seen in Pittsburgh.
2. Leaky offensive line
The right side of the Cleveland Browns' offensive line had a rough day in Miami to open the season. The Dolphins notched six sacks and a whopping 16 quarterback hits. Starting right tackle Mitchell Schwartz allowed 2.5 sacks to Miami's Cameron Wake and former Raven and right guard Oniel Cousins was flagged four times, including once to nullify a touchdown.
3. Top draft pick cleared to play
The Browns selected outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo (LSU) sixth overall this year, but he's been sidelined since being hospitalized with a bruised lung after an Aug. 15 exhibition game. Mingo was cleared to play Wednesday afternoon. It's unclear whether he'll be able to participate in Sunday's game, but he could be a boon for the Browns' pass rush.
4. Same pick-happy Brandon Weeden?
Cleveland dragged out naming its starting quarterback until the end of the preseason, but Weeden made it clear that he is the guy. He had an impressive preseason, completing 60 percent of his passes and tossing three touchdowns and no interceptions. He threw for more than 100 yards each game, giving hope that he would blossom in his second season. But Weeden, who tossed 17 interceptions to 14 touchdowns last year, tossed three picks and dropped below a 50-percent completion rate in the regular-season opener. Chudzinski is sticking with him, saying he won't be on a short leash in Baltimore.
5. A developing big-time weapon
Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is suspended for one more game because of a drug-related incident. But Cleveland has another weapon emerging. Tight end Jordan Cameron caught nine passes for 108 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins. The 6-foot-5 Cameron first began college playing basketball at BYU, but transferred to USC to play football. Considering the Broncos had success throwing to the tight end, the Ravens believe the Browns could look to target Cameron.
