The Houston Texans handed the Ravens the most lopsided loss during the John Harbaugh era in their last meeting, 43-13.
Much has changed on both teams since then, however.
Here are five things to know about the 2013 Houston Texans:
1. The comeback kids
Houston has pulled off a pair of comeback victories to start the season. The Texans overcame a 21-point deficit in the third quarter to win in San Diego on a 41-yard field goal. They were trailing by eight points with under five minutes remaining and came back to beat the Titans in overtime. Since the start of the 2012 season, the Texans are 7-0 in one-score games. They do have a shaky kicker, however. Randy Bullock is just 1-for-5 so far this year.
2. Two big wide receivers
The Texans have long been searching for a* *complement to All-Pro wide receiver Andre Johnson. They may have found it with first-round rookie DeAndre Hopkins. The man nicknamed "Nuke" caught seven passes for 117 yards and the game-winning 3-yard touchdown in overtime last Sunday. The Ravens "loved" the 6-foot-1 target in the draft, but he was off the board at No. 27 overall.
3. A couple injuries to watch
Safety Ed Reed's progress is something to monitor, although the Ravens expect their former star to play. Johnson suffered a concussion late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against Tennessee when taking a hit from former Ravens safety Bernard Pollard. Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak said he'll be an "end of the week decision." The Texans may be without their starting left tackle Duane Brown (toe).
4. Two-headed monster at running back
Everyone knows about Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster. But backup Ben Tate has been a more effective runner so far this season. Through two games, Tate has 148 rushing yards on 18 carries (8.2 per run). Coming off back and calf injuries this preseason, Foster has 136 rushing yards on 37 carries (3.7 per run). Both can also catch the ball out of the backfield.
5. Strong front seven
The Ravens upgraded their front seven this offseason with the addition of Elvis Dumervil, Chris Canty and Marcus Spears. The Texans still may have the strongest in the NFL. Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt leads the defensive line, but also has Antonio Smith on the opposite side. Houston has a collection of pass rushers with Brooks Reed, Brian Cushing and Whitney Mercilus at linebacker.
