The Ravens are still technically in first place in the AFC North.
The rest of the AFC North helped take some of the sting out of the Ravens' season-opening defeat in Denver by losing Sunday afternoon.
The Steelers, Bengals and Browns all fell, leaving the Ravens and everyone else in a tie at 0-1.
Pittsburgh lost, 16-9, at home against the Tennessee Titans, who went 6-10 last season. The Steelers had major offensive problems, putting up just 195 net yards.
With rookie running back Le'Veon Bell out with a foot injury, the Steelers only ran for 32 yards in the game. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went 21-of-33 for 191 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The Steelers got two points from a safety on the opening kickoff, but didn't score again until there were two minutes, 30 seconds left in the game.
The Steelers also lost four starters. Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey suffered a serious knee injury and was immediately taken to the hospital. Running back LaRod Stephens-Howling left in the third quarter with a right knee injury, cornerback Cortez Allen left with an ankle injury and linebacker Larry Foote left with a biceps injury.
Cincinnati lost, 24-21, in Chicago. The Bengals lead for most of the game, but the Bears scored 14 unanswered points to end the game, and won on a 19-yard touchdown reception by Brandon Marshal with 4:41 left.
Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green had a monster day with nine catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns, but quarterback Andy Dalton was up and down. He threw for 282 yards and the two scores to Green, but also tossed two interceptions.
Cleveland fell to the Dolphins, 23-10. Despite a new coaching staff and quarterback, Brandon Weeden, who was hot in the preseason, the Browns had similar offensive struggles to last year. Weeden threw three interceptions and running back Trent Richardson was held to 47 yards on 13 carries.
The Ravens fell to the Denver Broncos, 49-27, Thursday night, but had arguably the toughest matchup of any team in the division.
