Browns: Josh Gordon Will Be Released or Traded (Updates Coming)

The Browns made it clear that they will either release or trade star wide receiver Josh Gordon on Monday after he reportedly tweaked his hamstring after practice Friday, then reported late to the team facility the next day and was "not himself," per Cleveland.com’s Mary Kat Cabot.

The Browns have given Gordon, who led the NFL in receiving yards in 2013, multiple chances to get his life and career on track despite being suspended for 56 of a possible 97 games in his career. They released the following statement Saturday evening:

Instead of releasing Gordon, the Browns traded the wide receiver to the New England Patriots for a reported conditional fifth-round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Steelers: Frustrated Antonio Brown Tweets About Trade

After a 42-37 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Steelers are still looking for their first win of the season and star wide receiver Antonio Brown is frustrated.

Brown let his feelings be known to Steelers Offensive Coordinator Randy Fichtner on the sideline during Sunday's game, in which he caught nine passes for 67 yards but no touchdowns.

After the game, Brown reportedly rushed out of the locker room without speaking with reporters. Then on Monday morning, Brown brought up trade talk in response to a harsh tweet from a former Steelers public relations employee.

Bengals: Joe Mixon Out 2-4 Weeks (Knee)

Bengals running back Joe Mixon underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Saturday, which will sideline him for two to four weeks, according to Rapoport.

Mixon had 21 carries for 84 yards against the Ravens Thursday night, including a 21-yard run in the fourth quarter when he returned to the game with the injured knee. He has 236 total yards and one touchdown so far this season.

Veteran Giovani Bernard is expected to take Mixon's starting spot for the time being. The Bengals have road games against the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons up next before hosting the Miami Dolphins and Steelers.

NFL: Former Ravens WR Mike Wallace Out 'Indefinitely'

Former Ravens wide receiver Mike Wallace suffered an ankle injury during the Eagles' Week 2 loss in Tampa Bay Sunday, and is out "indefinitely," per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It could be a season-ending injury, and Wallace is reportedly undergoing further testing Monday. Wallace signed with the Eagles this offseason.

Philadelphia could look to add a deep threat. The Eagles already signed former Raven Kamar Aiken after he worked out for the team last week. Former Raven Breshad Perriman was also reportedly part of that workout and could be of interest after Wallace's injury.
