For a second straight year, the Ravens will be playing on Christmas Day.

The Ravens will travel to Houston to face the Texans on Dec. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Netflix, who has purchased the broadcasting rights for both Christmas games, first announced the game.

The Ravens went to San Francisco last year and beat the 49ers, 33-19, to cap a jolly Christmas for Baltimore fans. Now they'll be hoping for the same result against one of the AFC's top teams.

The Ravens-Texans game is a rematch of last year's divisional playoff game, in which Baltimore beat Houston, 34-10, at M&T Bank Stadium.

It's also a showdown between two of the best young quarterbacks in the game, two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud. It could be a critical Week 17 game with major playoff implications for both teams.

Here are the quarterbacks the Ravens defense is set to take on this season.

What's unusual about this year's Christmas games is that they are on Wednesday, setting up an especially short turnaround time. It remains to be seen at 8 p.m. ET, when the full schedule is released, whether the Ravens will be given extra rest beforehand.

While very rare, it won't be the first time the Ravens have played on Wednesday. They did so during the 2020 COVID-19 season after their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was rescheduled multiple times.

This will be the fourth time in Ravens history that they've played on Christmas. Only two teams, the Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys, will have played more Christmas games.

Check out the juiciest matchups to watch for during the Ravens' 2024 season.
