Chris Canty Returns For Ravens

Ravens defensive end Chris Canty is back, as expected, for Saturday's wild-card showdown against the Steelers.

Canty sat out the regular-season finale because of an ankle injury. He practiced fully throughout the week leading up to tonight's game.

There are no surprise scratches for Baltimore.

Offensive tackle Eugene Monroe (ankle) and rookie defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (knee) were ruled out Friday. That means rookies James Hurst and John Urschel will start again at left tackle and right guard, respectively.

The Ravens' other inactives are cornerback Chris Greenwood, defensive end Steven Means, defensive tackle Terrence Cody, defensive tackle Casey Walker and tight end Phillip Supernaw.

Perhaps expecting a pass-heavy attack from Pittsburgh with Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell out, the Ravens activated all but one of their defensive backs (nine total) and kept Cody and Walker on the bench. Ben Roethlisberger threw six touchdowns against the Ravens in their last trip to Pittsburgh.

The Steelers' inactives are cornerback Ike Taylor, Bell, defensive end Clifton Geathers, offensive lineman Chris Hubbard, tight end Michael Palmer, wide receiver Lance Moore and quarterback Landy Jones.

Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu will play after missing the past two weeks.
