Lamar Jackson got a shout out from one of the world's biggest pop culture icons Tuesday as he turned 23 years old. It looks like Drake had "Truss" stitched into some piece of clothing.
"It was pretty cool. You know, I've been talking to Drake for the longest [time]," Jackson said. "You guys don't know that, but I've been talking to him for the longest. So it was pretty cool. I've seen it. Everybody's been telling me, so it's dope. It's Drake."
Those worried about the "Drake curse" should rest easy. The Toronto Raptors, Drake's favorite team, won the NBA title last year. The curse is broken.
Jackson has become increasingly popular with rappers this season. Rapper Quavo, one third of rap trio Migos, got an autographed Jackson jersey from the Ravens quarterback.
