Storylines to Watch

DeCosta and Harbaugh will likely be asked about where negotiations stand with pending free agents Ronnie Stanley and others, as well as the possibility of extensions for Kyle Hamilton and/or Tyler Linderbaum.

They'll also talk about what they see in this year's draft class and how they envision using the draft to improve the roster.

Positions to Watch

The Ravens’ top needs include offensive line, safety, cornerback, and pass rusher.

With Stanley and starting left guard Patrick Mekari both pending free agents, the left side of the offensive line may have to be rebuilt.

Moving All-Pro Hamilton to a traditional safety role and inserting Ar'Darius Washington into the starting lineup solidified Baltimore's defense down the stretch in 2024. However, the Ravens may draft a playmaking safety who would allow Hamilton freedom to make splash plays as a versatile weapon who can line up almost anywhere.

Brandon Stephens and Tre'Davious White are pending free agents and the Ravens place high value on the cornerback position. The Ravens could spend another high draft pick on a corner to add depth behind Marlon Humphrey and last year's first-round pick Nate Wiggins.

Despite finishing second in the NFL with 54 sacks, an explosive edge rusher to harass the AFC's top quarterbacks such as Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes would be a valuable addition.

This year's defensive line class is very deep, and a disruptive inside pass rusher could be a prime target.

Projected to have 11 picks, including the 27th overall, Baltimore also covets depth at wide receiver and inside linebacker.

Players to Watch

A wide variety of offensive linemen have been linked to Baltimore in mock drafts, including Kelvin Banks Jr. (Texas), Tyler Booker (Alabama), Josh Conerly Jr. (Oregon), Aireontae Ersery (Minnesota), Donovan Jackson (Ohio State) Josh Simmons (Ohio State) and Jonah Savaiinaea (Arizona).

Players at other positions to watch are edge rushers Mike Green (Marshall), James Pearce Jr. (Tennessee), and Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M), defensive tackle Walter Nolan (Mississippi), cornerbacks Azareye'h Thomas (Florida State) and Trey Amos (Ole Miss), wide receiver Tre Harris (Mississippi), and safeties Malaki Starks (Georgia) and Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina).

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah thinks Emmanwori would be a great fit for the Ravens if he's available at No. 27.

"Emmanwori, if he was there, I would turn the card in," Jeremiah said on a conference call last week. "I think he would be a fun player for them to play with. He's big. He's physical. Plays more near the line of scrimmage. He makes a lot of plays buzzing underneath the ball, and he's a physical, firm tackler and an aggressive dude. I would be excited about that at the end of the first round."
