Final 2014 Mock Draft Monitor

Put your pencils down.

The NFL Draft is here and the final mock drafts are in.

Now who do the "experts" think the Ravens are going to take at No. 17?

ESPN, Mel Kiper TE Eric Ebron, North Carolina
Junior; 6-foot-4, 231 pounds; 62 catches, 973 yards, 3 touchdowns
"Sticking with this pick. There are fair questions about how 'complete' a tight end Ebron is. But at this point he becomes a great value as a difference-maker in the passing game, a long, fast matchup problem with the size to drag corners who try to pull him down after he makes the catch. The Ravens like Ebron's potential, and he augments the offense with a tall target to go with their smaller wide receivers. Torrey Smith and Steve Smith don't offer much in the way of length."

**ESPN, Todd McShay**
ILB C.J. Mosley, Alabama
*
Senior; 6-2, 232; 108 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 5 passes defensed*
"If North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron falls to this point, I think he'll be the Ravens' pick at No. 17. The Ravens could also be a candidate to trade down (with the 49ers being a possible trade partner -- more on that later), especially if both Ebron and Mosley are off the board by the time they go on the clock. But Mosley is a logical fit here, as Baltimore could use an upgrade at inside linebacker (even if it isn't the most pressing need) and he's a good value at this point in the first round."

**NFL.com, Mike Mayock**
ILB C.J. Mosley, Alabama*
*"Mosley is a great fit for the Ravens -- an inside linebacker who played in a 3-4 at Alabama. He makes this defense better immediately."

**NFL.com, Daniel Jeremiah**ILB C.J. Mosley, Alabama"Mosley would be an outstanding value with this selection."

**NFL.com, Charles Davis**FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, AlabamaJunior; 6-1, 208; 37 tackles, 5 interceptions, 9 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble
"Will pair with last year's first-round pick, Matt Elam to give Baltimore a formidable last line of defense."

**NFL.com, Charley Casserly**ILB C.J. Mosley, Alabama"Best player available here, but do they take Cyrus Kouandjio instead?"

**Sports Illustrated, Peter King**
TE Eric Ebron, North Carolina
"Party in the Ravens' draft room. They love Ebron's ability to be an instant force in the passing game and, combined with Dennis Pitta and perhaps Owen Daniels, the Ravens will have the best tight-end depth chart in football. Joe Flacco is very, very pleased."

**USA Today, Nate Davis**
OT Zack Martin, Notre Dame*Senior; 6-4, 308
*"Whether he's a tackle or guard, Martin would solidify a line that left QB Joe Flacco (48 sacks) on his back far too often in 2013."

FOX Sports, Peter Schrager FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Alabama
"I haven't seen Clinton-Dix mocked to the Ravens many other places, but it'd make some sense if he fell all the way to 17th overall. Safety is a position of need (Matt Elam could play one spot; Clinton-Dix could play the other), and Ozzie Newsome loves his Alabama guys."

**The Baltimore Sun, Aaron Wilson**OT Zack Martin, Notre Dame*
*"Martin fits the Ravens' mold as a tough guy who finishes blocks and has positional flexibility, technique and a nasty streak. He should fit right in as a plug-in-and-play right tackle next to Pro Bowl right guard Marshal Yanda. If Martin falls due to unfounded concerns about his short arms, the Ravens would be thrilled to scoop up one of the safest picks in the draft."

**Houston Chronicle, John McClain**FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Alabama
"He's got the kind of talent and range they need to patrol center field."

Pro Football Talk, Mike Florio OT Ja'Wuan James, Tennessee
Senior; 6-6, 311
"Our buddy Armando Salguero thinks the Dolphins are eyeballing James at No. 19.  They may not get the chance to snag him."

**CBS Sports, Rob Rang**S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Alabama*
*"General Manager Ozzie Newsome is a master on draft day in large part because he sticks to the 'best player available' strategy. While the hole at right tackle might literally be the Ravens' biggest need, pairing Clinton-Dix with 2013 first-round pick Matt Elam would give Baltimore a fierce, physical and instinctive young deep patrol."

**CBS Sports, Dane Brugler**S Jimmie Ward, Northern Illinois
Senior; 5-11, 193; 95 tackles, 10 passes defensed, 7 interceptions
"Could the Ravens go safety in back-to-back years? That's one possibility with James Ihedigbo gone. Pryor and Clinton-Dix are off the board, but Ward belongs in that same conversation and would give the Ravens an impressive safety pair, along with last year's first-rounder Matt Elam."

**CBS Sports, Pete Prisco**TE Eric Ebron, North Carolina
"He isn't a huge need, but the talent is there. The Ravens would see the value."
