History

This will be the third time the teams have faced off in the preseason, with each team winning once. The last time they met in the preseason was in 2019 when Lamar Jackson hurdled cornerback Jaire Alexander on an 18-yard touchdown run. Even though the play was nullified by a penalty, it was a sign of things to come in Jackson's first MVP season. The Ravens won that game, 26-13.

Key Storylines

Who grabs a roster spot with their final chance?

Realistically, there's probably only a couple 53-man roster spots left up for grabs. But to those players competing for those jobs, or a spot on the practice squad, this game means everything. Michael Pierce secured his spot with a monster preseason finale in 2016 in which the then undrafted rookie forced a fumble on a sack and recovered it in the end zone. Who could be this year's Pierce?

Will any starting offensive line spots be cemented?

Head Coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens "have a pretty good idea" of who will be starting on their offensive line, but that it wasn't solidified this week. Perhaps the preseason finale will bring the team's most important competition to a close.

What impact will the rookie draft picks make?

First-round cornerback Nate Wiggins is back to full strength after suffering a shoulder injury in the preseason opener. Will Baltimore put him back out there again? Fourth-round wide receiver Devontez Walker (ribs) returned to practice this week and could use a strong preseason performance. Same goes for fifth-round pick Rasheen Ali (stinger), who is in a tight competition for the No. 3 running back spot. Sixth-round quarterback Devin Leary is also looking to break out in the preseason after being outshined by undrafted rookie Emory Jones last week.

Players to Watch

LG Andrew Vorhees

Vorhees has been leading the left guard competition all summer, but he has had some rough patches during the first two preseason games. The Ravens have confidence in Vorhees' ability, but he would benefit from a stout preseason finale performance to get his gameday confidence rolling before heading to Kansas City.

WR Dayton Wade

Wade's chances of making the 53-man roster seem slim, but the undrafted rookie led the team in receiving in both preseason games, including a 56-yard touchdown last week. If Wade makes more plays in the finale, could he force himself onto the team?

C Nick Samac

The seventh-round rookie got run time with the first-team offense this week after having a good showing in the second preseason game. Samac is making a strong push down the stretch and the finale will go a long way.
