The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed wide receiver Tandon Doss, the team announced.
The details of the contract have not been released. Doss was also reportedly getting interest from the Giants, Steelers and Falcons.
Doss, 24, was not offered a tender by the Ravens as a restricted free agent.
The 2011 fourth-round pick was cut at the end of training camp last year, then re-signed a little more than a week later after Jacoby Jones suffered a knee injury.
Doss performed well upon his immediate return. He scored an 82-yard punt return touchdown against Houston in Week 3 an averaged an NFL-high 15.6 yards per return on 23 attempts. He started two games and caught 19 passes for 305 yards, including one grab over the middle in Pittsburgh despite taking a massive hit from safety Troy Polamalu.
But Doss fumbled a critical punt in Cleveland, contributing to a loss, and Jones took over returning duties from that point on.
Doss had a turbulent three years in Baltimore in which he battled injuries and never emerged as the reliable receiving option the team hoped for. He had a total of 26 catches for 428 yards and one touchdown for the Ravens.
"When I was able to play every other series and get into a rhythm, I think I showed I could do a little bit," Doss told the Florida Times-Union. "But there's a lot more." With Torrey Smith, Marlon Brown, Jones and newly-added Steve Smith, the Ravens don't have an evident need for Doss on the roster.
