Ravens Are Favorite to Land Two-Time Pro Bowl Cornerback if He's Traded

The Green Bay Packers reportedly have had trade conversations regarding cornerback Jaire Alexander, and the Ravens are the betting favorite to acquire the two-time Pro Bowler if he is dealt.

The 28-year-old Alexander's most productive season was in 2022, when he recorded five interceptions and was named second-team All-Pro for the second time. Injuries have limited him to 14 games over the past two seasons.

Alexander had two interceptions last year, including one for a touchdown, and seven pass breakups in seven games before suffering a PCL tear that ended his season.

He has two years and $37 million remaining on his contract.

The Ravens need cornerback depth alongside Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins. Brandon Stephens, who started 33 games over the past two seasons, is a pending unrestricted free agent.

Alexander has a connection with the Ravens, as he and Lamar Jackson played together at Louisville. The Packers selected Alexander 18th overall in 2018, 14 spots before the Ravens picked Jackson.

Alexander spoke about his relationship with the Ravens quarterback when the Packers hosted the Ravens for a joint practice last August.

"We came in at the same time in Louisville. We did a bunch of interviews together," Alexander said, via Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber. "It's just like watching a distant cousin or brother. It's always good to see his success. I always joke with him, 'When are we going to meet in the Super Bowl, man?' I think the time is coming soon."

Perhaps they could play in the Super Bowl as teammates.

Steve Bisciotti Receives an A on NFLPA Report Card

The NFLPA released its 2025 report cards, which graded teams in 11 categories based on feedback from players.

Owner Steve Bisciotti received an A, the highest individual grade for the Ravens.

Bisciotti ranked in the top 10 in willingness to invest in the facilities, significantly contributing to a positive team culture, and commitment to building a competitive team.

The Ravens were ranked 13th overall, up from 15th last year.

"It seems the team provides a very solid workplace environment for their players," the NFLPA wrote. "Players appreciate the strong leadership from the owner, general manager, and head coach."

Cam Robinson Named Potential Target If Ronnie Stanley Isn't Re-Signed

The Ravens like their chances of re-signing left tackle Ronnie Stanley, but as General Manager Eric DeCosta said Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine, "you never want to say 100 percent."

If the Ravens don't end up retaining Stanley, NFL.com’s Nick Shook said pending free agent Cam Robinson, 29, would be a good fit.

"Robinson could cost them potentially $5-6 million less per year," Shook wrote. "Only one year younger than Stanley, Robinson is coming off a productive 2024 season in which he served as Sam Darnold's blind-side protector after being acquired by Minnesota from Jacksonville near the trade deadline. His impact and effectiveness at tackle was immediate, as if he'd been with the Vikings for years."
