Former Ravens linebacker Jarret Johnson will be a full-time member of the team's radio broadcasts for the 2019 season as an analyst with play-by-play voice Gerry Sandusky.
Johnson has participated in radio broadcasts the past two seasons, and he will be the analyst for every game next season on the radio home for the Ravens, 98 Rock and WBAL NewsRadio 1090/FM 101.5.
"Jarret's NFL experience, unique insight and enthusiasm is a major component of our superb Ravens Broadcast Team," said Cary L. Pahigian, WBAL/98 Rock President and General Manager.
Johnson spent his nine seasons with the Ravens (2003-2011), before ending his playing career with the San Diego Chargers (2012-14). He was known for his gritty play, leadership, high production and high character.
"Jarret has long been a favorite among Ravens fans, and that enthusiasm has carried over into his role in the radio booth," said Kevin Rochlitz, Baltimore Ravens Senior VP, Corporate Sales and Development. "His experience as a player lends credibility to his gameday analysis, and his passion for the NFL is evident."
