The Ravens are healthy again, and just in time.
Just more than a week before their regular-season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, all of Baltimore's players practiced Saturday.
That includes top three cornerbacks Jimmy Smith (chest), Lardarius Webb (back) and Asa Jackson (ankle).
"Very encouraging to get all those guys practicing," Head Coach John Harbaugh said.
"I think we had everybody practicing today. It's encouraging to see that. Those guys all looked good. We'll just take it one day at a time from there."
Webb had sat out since being injured at the start of training camp. He missed all four of the Ravens' preseason games, something he's familiar with considering he's come back from two ACL tears.
Smith had been out since Baltimore's second preseason game in Dallas, when he landed hard on his back trying to break up a pass. Jackson had been out since Aug. 10, when he injured his ankle in practice.
Their return eases concerns in the Ravens secondary. Webb and Smith will be the starters outside, and Jackson was in line to be the nickel cornerback before his injury.
The Ravens also got back running back Bernard Pierce, who suffered a mild concussion in the Ravens' third preseason game. Pierce is expected to start in place of suspended Ray Rice for the first two weeks of the regular season.
Offensive tackle Jah Reid practiced for the first time since suffering a concussion prior to the third preseason game. Reid's return bolsters what was looking like a potentially thin offensive tackle corps. He's expected to be the top backup.
Tight end Owen Daniels has also gotten back up to speed after resting his legs, which were experiencing some swelling.
