Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will have surgery on his torn ACL Tuesday, Head Coach John Harbaugh announced.

Flacco is already in Alabama with renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. He received a pre-surgical examination check-up on Monday and is slated to go under the knife at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Harbaugh was not asked whether Flacco will have surgery on both his ACL and MCL.

Flacco injured his knee in the Week 11 game against the St. Louis Rams when left tackle James Hurst fell into his leg.

The medical team has been waiting for the swelling to go down before Flacco had surgery.

Harbaugh has previously said that he expects Flacco to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of next year's training camp, which will be about seven months and three weeks away from surgery.
