Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week after leading the Ravens to a record-breaking 55-20 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Flacco was selected by a fan vote after he went 21-of-33 passing for 341 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for one touchdown.
In addition to Flacco's impressive individual numbers, the 55 points scored by the Ravens was the most in franchise history and the most of any team in the NFL this season.
This is the second time of the season that Flacco has won the award, as he was also honored after his Week 3 performance against the New England Patriots.
Flacco was selected over Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton as the other finalists.Â
As part of the award, the local Junior Achievement in Baltimore will now be awarded a $2,000 donation in Flacco's name.
