Head Coach John Harbaugh had his not impressed face on Monday afternoon.
Very early Monday morning, Harbaugh became aware of the reported incident involving wide receiver Jacoby Jones, offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, a party bus, a stripper named "Sweet Pea" and a bottle being broken over Jones' head.
He has addressed the matter with Jones and the team, and addressed it with reporters during his* *regular Monday press conference.
"I'm not very impressed, personally, with the report," Harbaugh said. "It's not something that we want to be known for.
"I think it's not something those guys want to be known for. It's nothing to be proud of. I'm kind of disappointed in that sense."
According to a TMZ report, Jones and other Ravens players were in Washington, D.C., to celebrate McKinnie's birthday.
At about 3 a.m., Jones was reportedly struck in the head with a large bottle by a stripper in the party bus. Jones began bleeding and an ambulance was called, but Jones was not taken to the hospital, according to the report.
The report also says a fight broke out among those in the bus after Jones was struck. McKinnie reportedly intervened.
According to TMZ, police responded to the scene but no arrests were made and Harbaugh said he didn't know of any criminal proceedings.
Harbaugh said that Jones and his head are "fine." Jones, who has been sidelined since Week 1 with a sprained knee, went through the usual meetings and rehab Monday.
The head coach addressed the incident with the team. While he said he'll keep the details of that conversation within the team, he did divulge the general message.
"What do you want to be known for?" Harbaugh said. "Do you want to be known as a football player or do you want to be known for that?
"My dad, Jack Harbaugh, is here. That was definitely a motto that was enforced in our household, that nothing good happens after midnight. I did reiterate that with the guys today."
Harbaugh turned 51 Monday. A reporter asked whether people could assume he will not celebrate his birthday on a party bus in Washington, D.C. Harbaugh laughed.
"I'm going to pretend that question never happened," he said.
