There's always that one kid who stays inside during snowball fights.
Ravens fans reveled in the snow bowl that hit M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson wasn't enjoying it so much.
After exiting the game early with an ankle injury, Peterson told the media, "They've got the worst fans in the NFL. [They were] throwing snowballs the entire fourth quarter, like kids."
On Monday evening, Head Coach John Harbaugh was asked to respond.
"Who doesn't throw snowballs when it snows?" Harbaugh said with a chuckle. "Maybe in Minnesota because they're so used to snow, maybe that's gotten old for them."
The media laughed in response.
"What do you want me to say?" Harbaugh said. "We have the best fans in the NFL, I can tell you that."
Despite poor road conditions, many Ravens fans made it inside M&T Bank Stadium and stayed until the end, despite it looking (at multiple times) like they would head home with a loss.
Those fans who came and stayed were rewarded with a memorable 29-26 victory, and Harbaugh gave them a shout out to open his press conference.
"The fans were really tremendous," Harbaugh said. "With all the excitement, that was something that maybe was overlooked a little bit. Our fans were really great. We had a pretty darn good crowd there for the weather, people made it there. It was almost full, I think. … They're probably pretty glad they came."
