Karina Smirnoff Hospitalized, Will Still Dance

Usually it's the football player fighting through injuries.

But on tonight's "Dancing With The Stars" semifinals, it's Jacoby Jones' dance partner, Karina Smirnoff, who will be shaking off some soreness.

Smirnoff confirmed on Twitter that she was hospitalized Sunday after taking a fall during rehearsals.

However, Smirnoff tweeted that the fall will not keep her from dancing.

According to People Magazine, Smirnoff was practicing a flip in their Lindy hop dance routine when she landed on her face on Jones' back.

She went to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for "possible whiplash and a dislocated jaw." She was not still at the hospital as of Monday afternoon.

If Smirnoff were unable to perform, Jones could dance with a substitute pro, but it would clearly put him at a disadvantage against the competition. One couple will be eliminated Tuesday with the remaining four heading to next week's finals.

"I was sliding over Jacoby and I didn't get down enough, so I landed right on my jaw," Smirnoff said in a video, seemingly provided by ABC. "I tried to get up and I couldn't. … That scared me."

Jones expressed his concern about her injury.

"I'm worried about her," Jones said. "I'm more worried about that than this dance."
