Lardarius Webb will not make his 2014 debut Thursday night.
The veteran cornerback is inactive for the primetime matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers as he continues to recover from a back injury suffered in training camp. Webb has been sidelined since the second day of training camp, but he looked like he might play after telling reporters earlier this week, "I'm ready to get it going."
Instead, Webb will continue to rest and Chykie Brown will start in his place. Asa Jackson will be used as the slot cornerback when the Ravens have three corners on the field.
Webb was the only real injury concern coming into Thursday night, and the rest of the inactives are healthy scratches. The other inactives are wide receivers Michael Campanaro and Deonte Thompson, inside linebacker Arthur Brown, offensive guard John Urschel, offensive tackle Jah Reid and defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi.
As expected, Pro Bowl right guard Marshal Yanda will play after being listed as probable with a foot injury. He sat out Monday's practice but returned as a full participant Tuesday and Wednesday.
This is the second-straight week that Brown has been a healthy scratch for the Ravens. Bilukidi is inactive after the Ravens picked him up off of waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals Monday.
The Steelers are mostly healthy as well. Backup running back Dri Archer and wide receiver Lance Moore were ruled out earlier in the week, and the other scratches are quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Martvis Bryant, offensive linemen Wesley Johnson and Chris Hubbard and nose tackle Daniels McCullers.
