Takeaways From Ravens' Full Madden 25 Ratings

080224 Madden

After getting snippets of the Madden 25 ratings, the full thing is finally here.

Here's what stood out on the Ravens side:

  • Lamar Jackson made a massive jump, going from a 91 overall in Madden 24 to a 98 this year. He's followed by Roquan Smith (95), Derrick Henry (94), Mark Andrews (94), Justin Madubuike (92), and Marlon Humphrey (91) as Ravens with at least a 90 overall.
  • First-round rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins is a 75 overall but is the fastest player on the team with a 96 speed rating. He also has 95 acceleration. At just 183 pounds, Wiggins only has 49 strength.
  • Jackson is the most athletic quarterback in the game with 95s in speed, acceleration, and agility. With the two-time MVP slimming down this offseason, those numbers could be even higher next year.
  • Derrick Henry has a 99 stiff-arm rating. That seems pretty accurate, and defensive backs would probably agree. The King also has 98 stamina, 97 toughness, and 96 awareness. Playing with him as a Raven for the first time should be pretty fun.
  • The Ravens have some speedy rookies outside of Wiggins. Wide receiver Devontez Walker is tied for third with 94 speed. Running back Rasheen Ali has 92 speed, while Roger Rosengarten is the second fastest offensive lineman on the team.
  • Andrew Vorhees is the second-strongest player in the game with a 97 strength rating. That's good research from the Madden raters considering Vorhees hasn't played a game yet. He did, however, put up 38 bench press reps with a torn ACL at the 2023 Combine.
  • Justin Madubuike isn't far behind in terms of strength rating at a 95, followed by Michael Pierce (93) and Travis Jones (92). Madubuike also has 97 awareness.
  • Marcus Williams, who has 20 career interceptions, has the highest catching rating of any non-skill position player at an 80. He's ahead of tight end Isaiah Likely, who only has a 79 catching rating.
  • Speaking of Likely, he's a 72 overall, which seems ridiculous. When Mark Andrews was out last season, Likely was one of the best tight ends in the league. Also, his spectacular catch is only a 78. Did the Madden creators miss this?
  • Another player that is too low is Kyle Hamilton. Hamilton is tied for the seventh-highest rated safety in the league at an 89 overall. He was an All-Pro last season. How does that make sense?
  • Zay Flowers is the definition of shifty, and his rating shows it. He has 93 agility, 92 change of direction, and 92 juke move (the highest on the team).
  • Entering Year 13, Justin Tucker has 99 kick power and 97 kick accuracy. He surely can help your Madden team with the new Dynamic Kickoff.
  • Quarterback turned wide receiver Malik Cunningham unsurprisingly has throw accuracy ratings in the 70s. He could be a go-to for trick plays on Madden.
