That was a pricey beer.
The NFL reportedly fined Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters $14,307 for the beer he threw back with fans in the stands after his game-sealing pass breakup in Buffalo last week.
An hour or so after the fine was reported, Peters responded with this:
It was fourth-and-8 from the Bills' 16-yard line when Peters broke up Josh Allen's pass intended for John Brown in the end zone, which would have put Buffalo in position to tie or win the game with 1:03 left.
The Ravens haven't lost a game since trading for Peters in Week 7 (the 10-game win streak actually started two weeks prior), and Peters has been a dynamic player. He has two pick-sixes (in Seattle and Cincinnati) and the game-saving pass deflection in Buffalo.
While his celebration didn't impress the NFL, it was well received by many others.
