In the eyes of the players themselves, Lamar Jackson was the best quarterback in the 2024 season.
Jackson, linebacker Roquan Smith, and safety Kyle Hamilton made the NFLPA All-Pro team, which is the only postseason honor voted on exclusively by NFL players.
It's the second straight year that those three players have won the honor.
Jackson beat out Bills quarterback Josh Allen, among others, for the honor. It remains to be seen if Jackson will top Allen in the much-debated MVP vote, which comes from only from media members.
In leading the Ravens to the AFC North title, Jackson threw for a career-high 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions, earning a quarterback rating of 119.6 that goes down as one of the best passing seasons in NFL history. He also ran for 915 yards and four scores, becoming the NFL's all-time leading quarterback in rushing.
The leader of the Ravens' defense, Smith's 154 tackles were the fifth-most in the league. One of the fiercest and best tacklers in football, Smith is another major reason why Baltimore finished with the NFL's top run defense.
Hamilton was the NFL's only defensive back to post at least 100 tackles, an interception, two sacks, and two forced fumbles as the Ravens' Swiss-Army knife.
