QB Lamar Jackson

On being 1-4 as a starter against the Steelers:

"Losing, in general, bothers me – not the team [we play], really. [We've] just got to find a way to get a 'dub.' It's going to be a home game, so we've just got to execute at home [and] find a way to win – that's all."

On playing against the Steelers at home with fans for the first time:

"Just being in front of our crowd, Flock Nation, just being in the building, knowing it's a rival game, knowing what's at stake for us, I feel like the momentum, the momentum from our crowd, will just give us what we need – that extra boost."

CB Marlon Humphrey

On losing eight out of nine against the Steelers:

"It bothers me. When I found out, it was surprising, but I know the guys in the locker room, we want to win this rivalry. Eight out of the last nine [games] – it's not a good number at all. So, the focus has to be at a premium this week, and it's going to take a lot to get that back on our side, but you want to be able to beat your rival."

On the pass defense clicking over the past month:

"We've really tried to play more together. Honestly, if I had to just pinpoint one thing, I would say it's putting Kyle [Hamilton] back there at safety. That guy is just different. His play, obviously, you guys see the play, but the communication getting guys right. There are plays that I'm on the field ... I get the call, I ask Kyle 'What do I do in this call?' I hear Kyle give somebody else what they need to do in this call. His smarts, how he keeps the guys calm – he's just a piece you can put at any position."

On facing the Steelers:

"I think [Steelers head coach Mike] Tomlin wants to just keep the game close, keep the game close and then win it at the end, and honestly, that strategy works pretty well when they play us. I respect what he does as a coach. His team is ... There's a lot of teams out there that you can say, 'They weren't really tough. They didn't really bring it.' That's one thing that I love about the rivalry – there's not a lot of fair dodging. They're going do what they're going to do."

Jackson, Flowers, Humphrey & More: Ravens Press Conferences 12/17/24

QB Lamar Jackson, WR Zay Flowers, CB Marlon Humphrey, TE Mark Andrews, and S Kyle Hamilton speak with the media.

S Kyle Hamilton

On if they have a pretty good idea what the Steelers are going to do offensively:

"It's not a lot of glitz and glam. They're going to line up and make you stop them. We respect that, and I think most of the league does. They've been good at it for a long time, and a lot of teams just kind of wilt away at that point. When [teams] get to the third and fourth quarter, [and] you're tired of tackling Najee [Harris] or you're tired of hitting whoever, but I don't think we're built like that. I think we're built for these kinds of games, and we're going to come out on Saturday and prove that."

WR Zay Flowers

On how bad Jackson wants to beat the Steelers:

"He wants to beat everybody just about the same. So, I get a sense of that every week. Every team we play, he's like, 'Let's blow them out. We don't even want to play with them. Let's just go out and do what we got to do and get out of here.' I feel like he [has] that same energy for every game. He [is] locked in in the same way no matter who we're playing."

On what the Steelers do to make things difficult for him:

"Nothing. [The Steelers] don't really do [anything] that really stresses me, if I'm being honest. You have some [down] games, and [the Week 11 game] ended up being that game, so we'll figure it out when we get there. This week, we've got them, so I'm looking forward to that."

TE Mark Andrews

On what the Steelers defense brings:

"They're physical, they're athletic, they work hard, they've got effort. They do a lot of things well, so, for us, it's [about] bringing it. We know that they're going to be able to do that, so just being physical and doing our job. That's all that matters."

On if a lot of people are praising him after becoming the franchise leader in touchdowns:

"Yes, everyone has been super kind and cordial and has given me congrats. But at the end of the day, that's so small right now. It's so small, because we have so much ahead and so much to look forward to. I'm not worried about that; I'm worried about winning this next game."

Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken

On his emphasis on ball security:

"It's every week, but I've been here for three games [against the Steelers], and we've turned it over eight times; we've fumbled it seven times. If that doesn't tell you that [it's] a priority, I don't know what is."

Steelers LB Patrick Queen

On returning to Baltimore:

"I'm probably going to get a lot of [curses] and boos and stuff, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't want any other way. That's football. That's competition. That's a high level of competitiveness, so I'm all for it."

On if it feels different facing the Ravens a second time:

"I'm over it. It's a new team, we clinched a playoff spot, and there's bigger things to look at down the road. Right now, this is a big game, a division game. It's a chance to get T-shirts and hats, so I'm all for it. I'm all for the rivalry and all that but I'm over the whole 'my old team' stuff."

On if Jackson picks up steam over the last month of the season:

"Anytime he can make a play, he's going to try to make that play. I don't think he tries to hold anything back. Especially in the end of the season, everything's on the line at that point, there's not holding back from him. You definitely see that now, him lowering his shoulder, him stiff arming the guy out of bounds, which was crazy. Just him pushing the ball downfield, there's just a whole lot more plays he's trying to make. ... I think he's always been dangerous; the most dangerous guy in the NFL."

On watching film of Jackson and thinking how he makes some of these plays:

"He's a great player. The best in the world, honestly, at what he does."

Steelers QB Russell Wilson

On how the Ravens defense has evolved:

"They do such a great job. Obviously, they've got great experience. They've got guys who fly around. They have a lot of tremendous playmakers, and I think you're noticing just the season evolving for them. They're just getting better as they go."

On what has impressed him about Jackson's rushing ability this season:

"I think guys like Michael Vick, Lamar [Jackson], there's been some special guys running the football. He [Jackson] is a unique individual. I think that anytime he has the football in his hands, he's special, man. It's been cool to watch just over the years, people doubt him, and his ability to make plays. I think any time you're rushing for over 5,000or 6,000 – however many yards he's got – it's pretty remarkable in itself, no matter what position you play. And then also, too, he's been able to do it throwing the football as well. So he's a tremendous football player."
