Poll: Who Should Ravens Play In Season Opener?

As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Ravens will have the honor of opening the 2013 NFL season.

The first game of each year is played on a Thursday night in primetime, and this year's opener will be played Sept. 5 at M&T Bank Stadium.

The only question is who the Ravens will face.

The NFL schedule will be announced later this offseason, but each team's opponents have already been released and the Ravens have plenty of attractive home opponents.
Home opponents for next year are the Steelers, Bengals, Browns, Packers, Vikings, Patriots, Texans and Jets.

The most likely scenario is for the Ravens to play another AFC team because as ProFootballTalk.com pointed out, only once since the NFL began opening the season in the Super Bowl champion's city has there been an interconference game.

If the game is a matchup of AFC teams, then the probable opponents would be the Patriots, Steelers, Texans, Bengals or Jets because they are high-profile teams that have played memorable games against the Ravens in recent years. The Ravens opened last season at home on Monday Night Football against the Bengals. So who do you want to see at M&T Bank Stadium on Sept. 5?
