The Baltimore Ravens pride ourselves on providing the best gameday entertainment experience. Part of that experience is our amazing Ravenvision boards that take countless hours testing to make sure we can show all our assets and our game to our guests. Could you imagine a gameday without them! It was a close call this week but luckily because of Jermey, Mike and Scott we won't ever have to find out what a gameday without video boards would be like. Luckily they were able to troubleshoot some issues to get us ready for kickoff on Sunday. Jay O'Brien, Vice President of Broadcasting & Gameday Productions, has nominated them with the story below.
"The control room rack room overheated on Friday and led to a number of failures in the control room. We were at risk of not having a video board show at all on Sunday. Sunday morning at different points we couldn't control the video board, corner boards, replay systems, we couldn't even change the score or number of timeouts! Those three were masterful in getting the control room back to working order by game time and fans didn't notice any issues on gameday which is really remarkable."
