DE Chris Canty Joins Holiday Monument Lighting Celebration
Tonight (12/4), Ravens DE Chris Cantywill join Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake for the 43rd Annual Downtown Partnership Lighting of the Washington Monument.* *Each year, the city hosts a lighting celebration where the Mayor and special celebrity lighters throw the switch that turns on the lights and triggers the start of a fireworks display. The lighting and fireworks will cap an evening of holiday-themed entertainment.

WR Torrey Smith and WR Michael Campanaro Host BARCS Pet Adoption Event
On Friday (12/5), Ravens WR Torrey Smith and WR Michael Campanaro will join Animal Planet, Show Your Soft Side Inc., and Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter (BARCS) to host free pet adoptions on "Road to the Puppy Bowl." The "Road to the Puppy Bowl" is an All-Star adoption event to help animals of all sizes, shapes and breeds find their forever homes, for free. Adoption fees are covered by Animal Planet and are on a first-come, first-serve basis, while select animals and funds remain.

Baltimore Ravens and Parks & People Foundation Host Tree Planting Event
On Monday (12/8), Ravens S Terrence Brooks, TE Owen Daniels, RB Justin Forsett,G/C Gino Gradkowski,*and T James Hurst* will join Ravens staff and partner with Parks & People Foundation to plant trees and remove litter in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of Baltimore. The tree planting is part of the Ravens' GamePlanEarth, a week of environmental initiatives lead by the Ravens to help better the Baltimore community.

Baltimore Ravens Join Healthy Harbor for an Environmental Information Session
On Monday (12/8), Ravens T Eugene Monroe,QB Tyrod TaylorandK Justin Tuckerwill join Ravens staff for an environmental information session with Healthy Harbor, a Waterfront Partnership Initiative, whose goal is to create a cleaner, greener future for Baltimore's streams and harbor. The first part of the session will include a discussion of the "State of Baltimore's Harbor." The group will then head outside to see how oysters are grown for the Healthy Harbor Oyster Partnership and then walk over to the Inner Harbor Water Wheel, where inventor and operator John Kellett will be available to speak and answer questions. The session is part of the Ravens' GamePlanEarth, a week of environmental initiatives lead by the Ravens to help better the Baltimore community.

Baltimore Ravens Announce GamePlanEarth Ambassador Award
The Ravens will announce their inaugural GamePlanEarth Ambassador Award, a program that recognizes and highlights a Baltimore-area school that has implemented environmental initiatives and is a leader in the community. The 2014 GamePlanEarth Ambassador Award will be given to the scholars of the Green Street Academy. Representatives from the school will be present at the Ravens' Under Armour Performance Center, and after a tour of the facilities, will be presented with the award and a $1,000 grant to assist in the continuation of its work.
