Ravens fans looking to forget about the 2013 season can look ahead to 2014.
After the regular season concluded yesterday, the Ravens now know who their opponents will be next season.
The Ravens knew all but two opponents, which were decided by their division finish.
Baltimore finished in third place in the AFC North (8-8) behind the Steelers (8-8) based on their division record. That means the Ravens will get a softer schedule next year.
If the Ravens finished second in the division, they would have faced the second-place teams in the AFC West and AFC East, Kansas City and New York Jets, respectively. Instead, Baltimore will host the AFC West's third-place team (San Diego), and travel to the AFC East's third-place team (Miami). They don't yet know when they'll be playing. Dates and times will be announced in April.
Here are the Ravens’ future opponents:
HOME: Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
AWAY: Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
