Next week's Ravens-Bengals game at M&T Bank Stadium has been flexed from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m., the NFL announced late Sunday night.
The league moved all the games with AFC wild-card implications to 4:25 p.m. to ensure that no team has an advantage by playing later in the day. The Buffalo-Miami, Jacksonville-Tennessee and Oakland-San Diego games will also all be at 4:25 p.m.
"We felt that both from a competitive standpoint and from a fan perspective, the most fair thing to do is to schedule all Week 17 games in either the 1 p.m. or 4:25 p.m. ET windows," said NFL Senior Vice President of Broadcasting Howard Katz. "This ensures that we do not have a matchup on Sunday Night Football on New Year's Eve that because of earlier results has no playoff implications for one or both of the competing teams."
Unlike previous years, there will be no Sunday Night Football game that begins at 8:30 p.m.
The Ravens currently have the No. 5 seed in the AFC, but they have to beat the Bengals to guarantee a playoff spot. They can still make the playoffs if they lose next week, but would need help.
Here's the full breakdown of the Week 17 playoff implications.
