Winning the Super Bowl has its perks.
One of them is getting to enjoy some time in Hollywood this week as part of the ESPY Awards.
Ray Lewis, Joe Flacco, Jacoby Jones, Torrey Smith, Dennis Pitta and Terrell Suggs will represent that Ravens at the awards show Wednesday in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre. The show will air on ESPN at 9 p.m..
The Ravens are nominated for a handful of awards, which will be decided by fan voting.
The Super Bowl XLVII champs are up for "Best Team," and will compete against the other championship squads, including the NBA's Miami Heat, NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, MLB's San Francisco Giants, Alabama's football team, Oklahoma's softball team and the U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team.
In another team category, the Ravens are nominated for "Best Game" for their 38-35 double-overtime victory over the Broncos in the AFC divisional round. It will compete with the Boston Bruins' Game 7 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Heat's Game 6 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
Flacco is nominated for "Best Championship Performance" for the outing that earned him the distinction of being Super Bowl MVP. In leading the Ravens to a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Flacco completed 22-of-33 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns. He's up against NBA Finals MVP LeBron James, World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval and Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski.
Rice's iconic "Hey Diddle, Diddle" 4th-and-29 play against the San Diego Chargers is up for "Best Play," along with 16 other nominations.
Fans can vote for the Ravens online at ESPN.com, and voting ends just before the show begins.
