Mock Draft Roundup 10.0: This Prospect Would Make Baltimore a 'Nightmare'

mock draft 10.0

The NFL Draft starts in three weeks, and mock drafts are starting to zero in on certain position groups for each team.

In this roundup, pundits either have the Ravens selecting an offensive or defensive lineman or adding to the safety room.

Here's which prospects are getting mocked to the Ravens:

South Carolina defensive back Nick Emmanwori (21) looks into the back field during an NCAA college football game against South Carolina State on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, in Columbia, S.C. South Carolina won 50-10. (AP Photo/Artie Walker Jr.)

S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina

2024 stats: 13 games, 4 interceptions (two for TDs), 88 tackles

"Like Kyle Hamilton, Emmanwori is a safety with rare size – but Emmanwori has better back-end range and ball-hawking skills, so adding him would allow Hamilton to play down and be part of the action more often."

"The mere thought of Kyle Hamilton and South Carolina's Nick Emmanwori playing together immediately sends shivers down the spine. The size and athleticism found among both can create a fearsome duo with the potential to dominate as imposing tone-setters."

National team defensive lineman Mike Green of Marshall (15) runs through drills during practice for the Senior Bowl NCAA college football game, Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, in Mobile, Ala. (AP Photo/Butch Dill)

EDGE Mike Green, Marshall

2024 stats: 13 games, 17 sacks, 23 tackles for loss, 84 tackles

"This would be a nightmare to consider. Green is arguably one of the best pure rushers in the draft with excellent explosiveness and a great rush plan. He would be an immediate-impact player from the word go."

OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State

2024 stats: 6 games, 82.0 pass block grade (Pro Football Focus), 68.7 run block grade, .6% pressure rate allowed

"Near the end of Round 1, the Ravens have the luxury of taking Simmons, who's coming off an ACL injury, and thinking more long term. They've taken chances on injury risks in the draft and had some payoff from that approach. Simmons might have been OT1 had he not gotten hurt."

S Malaki Starks, Georgia

2024 stats: 14 games, 77 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 interception, 3 passes defended

"Texas A&M defensive ends Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton are in play here, but Starks' playmaking ability fits with the Ravens' DNA. The 6-1, 197-pound Starks started all three years at Georgia — no small feat given the talent pool and intricacy of the defensive system. He led Georgia with 77 tackles and ran a stellar 4.5 40-yard dash. His 1.51 10-yard split is even better."

EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College

2024 stats: 12 games, 16.5 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, 80 tackles

"A departure from the normal, oversized defensive front player for the Ravens, Baltimore gravitates toward Ezeiruaku because of his polish as a pass rusher."

Mississippi defensive tackle Walter Nolen (2) follows a play against Florida during the second half of an NCAA college football game, Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, in Gainesville, Fla. (AP Photo/Phelan M. Ebenhack)

DL Walter Nolen, Ole Miss

2024 stats: 13 games, 6.5 sacks, 48 tackles, 14 tackles for loss

"Baltimore upgrades its defensive line to better harass the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. That's why it picks 2024 consensus All-American defensive tackle Walter Nolen. Many teams will try to mimic the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' build-through-the-trenches model, and that's what Baltimore does here. Nolen's 91.6 PFF run defense grade was the second highest by a defensive tackle in college football last season."

Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker (52) sets up for a play against South Carolina during the first half of an NCAA college football game, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. (AP Photo/Vasha Hunt)

IOL Tyler Booker, Alabama

2024 stats: 13 games, 86.5 pass block grade (Pro Football Focus), 63.9 run block grade, 2.5% pressure rate allowed

"Losing Patrick Mekari is an underrated departure because of his versatility and ability to slot into multiple positions. The Ravens can at least find some help on the interior of their offensive line by taking one of the strongest prospects in this year's draft in Tyler Booker. He is an absolute road grader in the run game and difficult to displace in pass protection. That's a dream player for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry to run behind."

Tennessee defensive lineman James Pearce Jr. (27) during the second half of an NCAA college football game Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, in Charlotte, N.C. (AP Photo/Scott Kinser)

EDGE James Pearce Jr., Tennessee

2024 stats: 13 games, 7.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 38 tackles

"With the Ravens looking for more pass-rush juice, Pearce's wait ends here. He entered this past season as a potential top-10 pick and has some of the most effortless movement skills of any pass rusher in this class. He ran a 4.47-second 40 and can really bend the edge, too. But his lack of consistency last season resulted in a stock drop. The Ravens could capitalize by landing Pearce and his considerable upside late in the first round.

Texas A&M's Shemar Stewart (4) defends during the first half of an NCAA college football game against Auburn, Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, in Auburn, Ala. (AP Photo/Stew Milne)

EDGE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M

2024 stats: 12 games, 1.5 sacks, 6 tackles for loss, 31 tackles

"The Ravens can't count on another 12.5 sacks from Kyle Van Noy in his age-34 season. Also, Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo have struggled with making an impact on a consistent basis. Perhaps Stewart can end up being the team's No. 1 edge rusher in the near future."
