Ravens Offseason Injury Outlook

The Ravens were hit hard by the injury bug last year, with many key players landing on Injured Reserve by season's end.

That's the bad news.

Looking forward, a good number of those players are on track to return at some point this offseason, most on a limited basis by Organized Team Activities in May.

"There's not too many of those guys that won't be back for training camp," said head coach **John Harbaugh**. "It just depends on how they progress. We expect to get a number of those guys back for [organized team activities] and even some of them back for March 15 when we start the program."

The IR list included 13 names from 2009, down from the 19 they had in 2008 for the second-highest number in the NFL. Despite the glut of injuries, Baltimore made the playoffs in both seasons.

Here's a breakdown of a few key players who landed on IR in 2009 and their injury rehab outlook:

**Fabian Washington**Injury:Torn left anterior cruciate ligament

Key Stat:Ravens top 4 receivers may enter free agency
Quote:"Everybody's finished playing football for the year, and I just want to start now. I'm feeling slow now, but once I can really start working, I'm going to do everything I can to be ready for training camp."

**Adam Terry**Injury:Microfracture surgery on right knee
Date:Aug. 11
Expected Return:OTAs
Key Stat:Has missed 21 games since 2007
Quote:"That's up in the air right now," he said. "There are a lot of variables depending on how it unfolds. I'd like to come back. That's not my decision yet."

**Samari Rolle**Injury:Recovery from neck surgery from bulging disc
Date:2009 offseason
Expected Return:Speculation of retirement
Key Stat:Rolle signed a four-year contract last offseason

In addition, defensive tackles **Brandon McKinney** and **Lamar Divens**, safety **K.J. Gerard**, running back **Matt Lawrence**, tight end **Quinn Sypniewski** and linebacker **Jason Phillips** landed on the injured reserve list.
