Ravens Reach Two-Year Deal With Lawrence Guy

The Ravens continue to add depth to their defensive line.

The team has reached a two-year deal with reserve defensive lineman Lawrence Guy, who was an unrestricted free agent after his first year in Baltimore.

Guy, 24, is heading into his fourth NFL season.

The Ravens claimed him off waivers last year after he was released by the San Diego Chargers early in the season. He saw action in 11 games in Baltimore, registering 16 tackles and a pass defensed.

Bringing back Guy is the second move in the span of a few hours to strengthen the Ravens' defensive line depth. Baltimore also re-signed veteran defensive end Chris Canty earlier in the day.

Guy will compete with other young players like Christo Bilukidi, Brent Urban and Kapron Lewis-Moore for playing time once the Ravens get into training camp.
