The Ravens moved quickly to fill an open spot on their practice squad Wednesday.
Baltimore signed offensive tackle David Mims to its practice squad shortly after offensive tackle J.J. Unga was signed to the Buffalo Bills' active 53-man roster.
Any team around the NFL may sign a player off another team's practice squad, at any point, to their active roster.
Mims spent the offseason and training camp with the Ravens this year and was part of the team's first-round of cuts in August. He's a 6-foot-8, 335-pound product out of Virginia Union.
