WIDE RECEIVER TORREY SMITH
(on the season) "It's a fun one. We are where we wanted to be, so you can't really complain. Regardless of what's been thrown in, that's life. We were able to overcome everything and I think that's a credit to our team."
(on how often he runs go routes) "It all depends. It's not like they say, 'Hey Torrey, just run straight down the field all the time. Some of it is scheme-wise to open other guys up. Against certain coverages, I have certain responsibilities. We do attack vertically. That's a strength of ours, and I'm one of the guys that they definitely use to do that."
(on whether it requires patience to come up with big plays) "No, big plays are only 15 or 20 of my catches. I had 50, so, the other catches weren't all bombs. We do a little bit of everything. I run all the routes. Big plays are obviously a little harder to come by."
(on whether he thinks there are big-play opportunities against the 49ers) "I think we can get big plays against any defense we play. You just have to go out there and do it. They're professionals just like we are. They're a great secondary, and they have playmakers. They have made a lot of plays this year. It is definitely going to be a tough challenge, but it's one-on-one battles. If we go out there and play our game, we'll be fine."
(on whether he can be a No. 1 receiver) "I think I can play ball. I can run all the routes and that's what a receiver needs to do. I can make all the catches and I'm very confident I can do that. I've proved I can do that. In regards to what people think about me in terms of pre-draft, it doesn't really matter. I'm playing well in the NFL."
(on how Anquan Boldin has helped him) "Anquan has helped me out a lot. He's been a great mentor both on and off the field. I'm thankful to be paired up with him."
(on what it means to him personally to make it to the Super Bowl) "It means a lot. We worked to get here. It's not about me personally at all. It's all about our team and that was our goal during the offseason – to work maybe to the Super Bowl and win it. We're one game away and we have the opportunity to do that. We have the opportunity to do that. We're thankful to be here, but at the end of the day, we're here to win a football game. If we don't win, none of it really matters."
(on where Joe Flacco ranks among the NFL's quarterbacks) "I think he's a great quarterback. I'm not really one for all the rankings and stuff. I think that if you want to talk about winning, Joe gets it done. He's also on a team that he's the Super Bowl quarterback. We're in the Super Bowl. All we have to do is go out there and win it and he'll have that on his resume. I think he's playing well and people are finally starting to respect him. But, everything he's doing, we've already seen him do."
(on Joe Flacco's arm) "I think he can make every throw. I think that is his best asset. There are a lot of great quarterbacks in the league, but not every quarterback can make every throw. It's rare and he's one of those guys."
(on his favorite team growing up) "I never had a team. I had favorite players. I played quarterback, so my favorite quarterback growing up was Mike Vick. I'm a big Randy Moss fan, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders – there were a lot of players. I'd definitely say Vick and my favorite receiver was Randy Moss."
(on bandwagon fans) "It comes with the territory. I think the best part about it is that the two local teams, us and the Redskins, we're in two different conferences. If we weren't in it and the Redskins were still in it, folks would want them to do well. I'm glad that folks are supporting us as well."
(on Vernon Davis' career at Maryland) "There is nobody that's been able to do what he's done (at Maryland). He was drafted high, he played well at tight end and he's a freak. There weren't too many guys like him."
(on whether Vernon Davis had a better college career than he did) "I mean, I think – who had better numbers? We both left after three years. He played more than I did as a freshman. I played receiver, so it's kind of hard to compare and contrast. But, there is no tight end that was like Vernon. There is no tight end that's been like Vernon athletically. He's a rare talent."
(on whether he thinks about the big plays wide receivers have made in recent Super Bowls) "I just think about going out there and playing my game. Making plays is a part of that. I do imagine myself making plays and that's the same way I approach any game. I feel like you have to see it, you have to visualize it for it to happen. More importantly, you have to go out there and do it. I'm looking forward to the challenge this weekend."
(on visualizing big plays) "You just think about what it'd be like, what you have to do to get open, what you have to do to make the catch – look the ball all the way in. I definitely do that. I'm a big visual guy. I kind of took that from Michael Jordan. I remember reading that one time that he was a huge visual guy. I think it helps."
(on whether he likes pressure) "I love pressure situations. That's when the best come out. Folks who love competition, folks who are competitors, the cream rises to the top."
QUARTERBACK JOE FLACCO
(on Torrey Smith's brother passing away) "It was unbelievable the way he's been able to handle it. Obviously, when I first heard about it, (the team) was unsure if he was going to be able to come back and play in the game. It was completely up to him and his family. The decision that he made was incredible and the way he was able to come out and perform, I think all of our teammates did a great job in helping him out and allowing him to lean on us if he needed to. Once the game started, I really wasn't too worried about him that night. I was kind of more worried about him once he went home and maybe the reality of everything had kind of sunk in. He's been a great kid since he's been here and I can't see a single person in here handling it as well as he did and kind of turning it in to a positive thing and making the most out of that situation."
(on contract negotiations) "It's real simple. We didn't agree on a number and I didn't really care to discuss it any further once it got to that point. Bottom line is I'm not the guy going up into their offices and negotiating with them every day anyways. It was really never a concern of mine and never really thought about it. Even in the offseason, when you think about it a little bit, they are really all good thoughts. It's a good problem to have and to be talking about."
(on Jim Caldwell) "Jim has been great. He and I have pretty similar personalities and it's just good going to that room and kind of bounce ideas off of each other and communicate the way we have. I think that's what leads to playing well on Sundays, is having that communication between you and him and having that communication trickle down through the offense."
(on the Ravens being known as defensive team) "You don't get to this point without having a good football team and that's in all three phases. This team has had such a great defense for many years, such big faces on that side of the ball. That's what we're known for. Us guys on the other side, we don't have any problem with that. We know that in order to win football games we have to go out there and do our job. We're kind of humble guys on our side of the ball and don't really care what people say about how we won it. We just need to go out there and do our job and I think that's what has made us successful."
(on attending a pre-draft academy before he was drafted) "It's one of those things that are kind of a necessity these days. When you go to the combine you need to make sure you impress as many people as you can. It was a good opportunity to go out there and get good work in and hang out with a bunch of guys that are going through a similar process as you were. It definitely prepares you for that type of a situation in terms of the interviews and just all types of the physical things you have to do in order to prepare for that day."
(on seeing people wearing his jersey) "Five years in and it's still a little weird to see that. I don't know if you ever get used to it but it's definitely a good thing. It means that we're still playing and people are excited about what we're doing in Baltimore. I don't really know any other football communities besides really Baltimore and Philadelphia, because I grew up around there. Philadelphia is very passionate about their sports and Baltimore is unbelievable. I think if you spend any time around those people, football, it's everything there. It was pretty cool just to see that and see people wearing everybody's jerseys. Before we came here, we had a little sendoff out in the city and the amount of people that turned up just to support us was unreal."
(on how his calm demeanor benefits him as a quarterback) "I have no idea. It's just who I am. It helps. In those situations you have to just rely on who you are and think about the basics. I don't really know if your demeanor off the field impacts that but it may. I think the biggest thing that you need in order to be successful in this situation is just think about the basics. So I don't know if it's the demeanor or just not trying to do too much in those kinds of situations."
(on Colin Kaepernick) "He's been impressive. He's a good athlete. When they drop back and throw the ball he's been on the money. Obviously his team is in the Super Bowl and he's done a great job. It will be interesting to see in the years to come how much those guys transition from being fifty-fifty in that type of run-pass game to a little bit more of a pass option. I'm sure they will probably transition a little bit more to that so they don't get beat up quite as much. He's done a great job and he has that athleticism and he has the arm strength, so I'm sure he's going to be successful for a while."
(on if he's ever considered wearing a glove on his throwing hand) "No. You know what, I haven't practiced with one. I've always been a person, whether it was holding a baseball bat or throwing a football, I like to feel it. I like to have that sense that I have my hand on the ball. I'm sure I could get used to throwing with a glove, but there's never been a situation that has come up where I felt like I needed to, so I just haven't ever entertained the thought of it."
(on if he considered wearing a glove in the Denver playoff game) "I didn't think about it all week because I wasn't in the zero-degree weather so I wasn't going to put a glove on all week in practice. I think that kind of would have been a distraction almost. We went out in pregame and everything was good. You have the hand warmer around your waist and all that. I think it's just part of the elements and you get used to it. When you're running around on the field you don't really feel it too much, it's only when you're on the sidelines sitting on the benches that you're complaining about it."
KICKER JUSTIN TUCKER
(on whether he thought it was possible to go from a college free agent to kicking in the Super Bowl) "I definitely did. You never really expect anything in this game. I just know, more than anything, I'm thankful for the opportunities that I've received. I don't really think about them as opportunities as much as I do as blessings. In this whole season, dating back to last year when I was just out of school, it's been kind of a whirlwind. But it's nothing we can't handle. I've never really thought like a rookie because I can't afford to at my position."
(on how the competition in training camp helped him gain confidence) "I think the competition that I had in training camp and the work I've been doing over the course of the last several months has been great for all of us specialists. As far as building confidence, we feel good going onto the field because of how we practice and how we prepare on and off the field."
(on how John Harbaugh gets involved in special teams) "He definitely does. He'll be walking down the hall while we're watching some tape and he'll pop his head in and sit down with us and see what we're doing. It's really cool to have a coach that is so hands-on with every aspect of the game. Not just special teams, but every single aspect of the game and every player in that building."
(on gaining confidence from the game-winning kick at Denver) "I think any time you're able to come through in a tough situation for your team, to be able to share that experience with so many great people – being able to stack that success on other successes is definitely a positive thing. That's big for creating a little bit of momentum, which we definitely feel like as a special teams unit and as a team we've been able to build over the course of the last couple weeks."
(on taking a practice kick on the playing field before the game-winning kick) "That didn't really have any bearing on what happened the next play. It doesn't have any bearing at all. It was just another opportunity to swing the leg more than anything. It's really no different other than kicking the ball into the net on the sideline. It's just aiming at a different target."
(on whether teams trying to ice him by calling timeout before a kick matters to him) "I don't think it does. If anything, it gives you a little bit more time to pick out your aiming point. If you're battling the elements to strategize that aspect a little bit more. I don't think it really has any bearing on what happens in live game action anyways."
(on playing indoors) "I am (looking forward to it). But every field, every dome, every environment is different. The Superdome is unique in and of itself. We had a chance to go kick a little bit there yesterday and we had a good workout. But it is nice to more or less take the elements out of the game and just focus on hitting a straight ball."
RUNNING BACK RAY RICE
(on the fullback position) "I've always been able to run the ball, but you are your brother's keeper. One thing about Vonta (Leach) is he's a fullback. I think it's one of the most under-recognized positions in the game because of all the physical abuse he does to his body to see another man shine. The fullback position is not a pretty job. One thing about it is Vonta wants that responsibility to go out there and just knock people out for me and Bernard (Pollard) to go out there and be successful. He's done it for many backs over the years. Look at what he's done for Arian Foster. They often vouch for him. Linebackers around the league know he's coming for them."
(on Baltimore's defense) "You know what they say, 'Offense wins games, but defense wins championships,' and I still firmly believe that because look at us defensively last week. If they don't do what we did against Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, we're not even in a position to score points. It didn't bother me at all because quite frankly, I'm playing with a few hall of famers over there. At the end of the day, we all just try to create our own legacy."
(on Baltimore's offense) "If we can compete with our defense, we'll be successful, and this year was one of those times where we started to turn up the plays. We had a very demanding training camp, but we were getting big plays. Defense was getting stops. We figure if we can move the ball against our guys, not that the league is mellow, but we've got a pretty good defense ourselves. We did a lot of ones versus ones. We didn't switch it up much. We did the ones versus ones and got a lot of quality reps. I'm not taking anything away from our defense, but we've been lighting it up offensively for the last couple of weeks. Joe Flacco has really put that on us. Joe's our quarterback. We plan on going out there every week and scoring points, but just the way Joe's been doing it for us and leading us, I don't think it's a surprise we're in the playoffs every year. We got there with a great team. That's one thing that feels good about our team now is that we're sound in all three stages. We always felt like we had things to work on, but we're good on special teams, we're good on offense, and we're good on defense. And that's what got us here."
(on Joe Flacco) "He led us. One thing about it is he's our quarterback. Not a single person in here can say they can go out there and make that pass, place it perfect for Jacoby Jones against Denver. Not many people can go out there and lead us to 21 straight points in the second half to go ahead and beat New England. I'm not saying it's not a total offensive job, but he gets the plays. He's got to make the throws, and he made every single one of them."
(on maintaining focus before the Super Bowl) "You lose the Super Bowl, and you're in second place; you're a loser. You get roped off, and the other team is out there celebrating. You get totally forgotten about. You'll just be known as the people who lost in the Super Bowl. That feeling is not the best of feelings because a lot of times you get caught up in the surroundings and a lot of people forget that you've still got to play a game on Sunday. It's the greatest time in the world. Family's coming in town and everything. You see everything, but you've just got to block out the distractions at some point. It's time to focus."
(on offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell) "Jim Caldwell couldn't come in there and reinvent the offense. We had the same plays, same formation, same number count. One thing he emphasized with us is to do what we do and do it really well. He's just a guy that knows we're not going to be perfect, but if we chase perfection, we're headed in the right direction."
(on his football family, past and present) "My high school coach is the greatest man I've ever met in my life. When you get to college, you try to shape yourself and find out what kind of great men are around you. That's what I was all about, family and all that stuff. When I went to Rutgers, it was all about family. When I got with the Ravens, I'm talking about the ultimate brotherhood with Ray Lewis and the way he captured the whole locker room to bring us together for one sole purpose, and that's to win the Super Bowl."
(on distractions surrounding the Super Bowl) "This is part of the ride. This is something that as you get older, everybody's time is going to fade to black. You have to embrace every moment, let your personality get out there and have fun with it. These are one-time deals. People are fortunate, that's God willing, but Ray's 17 years, and this is only his second (Super Bowl). This is part of the ride. This is, in all senses, fun. All part of this is fun because it's not something that you just take for granted. You don't just wake up and have all this media around you for basically the right reasons, because you're in the Super Bowl and you have the chance to play the most-watched sporting event in the world. It's amazing."
(on Ray Lewis) "To go back to a little cartoon, we're like Mufasa and Simba. For football, he taught me how to be a pro. It's a smiple saying, but there's a lot that comes with being a pro. He's also taught me how to be a man as well. Athe end of the day, when he announced his retirement he put it into perspective with saying, 'There's life outside of football.' The life outside of football is being a man, and that was really special for me because it just meant the world to know that this man took his time, not only to embrace me, but he took me under his wing and showed me how to do this thing. It's just helped me out over the last couple of years. I didn't wish any time by, but after this season, I'm going into my sixth year. I'm ready to go, and I came into the league with no facial hair. Now I'm starting to get little specks on my face. He taught me to enjoy the journey, and it was all worth it."
(on getting to this point in his career) "I've always watched Super Bowls, and it's like one of those things on the bucket list. You can't put it on there until you actually get into the league. I couldn't imagine what a Super Bowl would feel like. I did media day one year when I made the Pro Bowl in Miami, and I couldn't imagine feeling the way this team felt. I just watched the Saints and Colts and thought it must feel good to be them right now. That was special. Now I'm here in the same seats, and it's fun. It's quite the ride."
(on Coach Harbaugh and Ray Lewis' relationship) "I think because of the respect Coach Harbaugh has for Ray Lewis, that they have a great relationship. We have a lot of the personality of our head coach because that's just normal. You start with the head coach, and everything trickles down. As Ray gave some words of wisdom to Coach Harbaugh? Absolutely. The best thing about our team is that our coach listens to his players. He runs his program the way we run the plays. If he feels like there's a change that needs to be made, he does it for the rest of our team. That's special because you have some coaches were it's one way, but we just call ours the Ravens way. We don't mind changing something that's going to help our team.
(on Baltimore being more relaxed than San Francisco) "The only time I need to be intense is on Sunday. The game's going to get here, but when you stretch out the week, you can't let these moments pass you by. It's not about being uptight. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
WIDE RECEIVER JACOBY JONES
(on his tattoos) "All of them mean something to me, something I've been through in life. I have a lot of scriptures on me and things from where I'm from."
(on being a role model) "You got to watch what you do and say around kids sometimes. I try to show them how to work and have determination to take them where they want to go in life."

(on how this week has been different than normal) "It's pretty much business as usual even though we're on the big stage for the Super Bowl. We're going about with our normal routine, business as usual."
(on if the team has been having fun this week) "We always are going to have fun. We're always going to be us. We have fun at practice. Everybody has just been enjoying ourselves, but not getting too far off the path and making sure we're here for a football game."
(on if he has been down Bourbon Street) "I haven't been there yet. My mom and dad got here today so they may want to go. I may go early just to walk with them and spend some time with my mom and dad. Nothing late though. I'm still going with my normal routine."
(on who the under-the-radar MVP would be for the Ravens if they win) "Sam Koch. I'd say our punter, Sam Koch, or one of our kickers, Justin Tucker just because they're the most consistent people. You know what, strike that, the "Secret Service," the offensive line, most definitely. Last week we reversed it. We got to be the offensive linemen for the one-on-one pass-rush drill and they got to pass-rush against us. We got to block them. Even if you do a good job, no one ever knows."
(on which 49ers player is the biggest threat) "All of them. They're whole team is the biggest threat. I can't give you one in particular. They're all pretty good."
(on which song Beyoncé should open with for the halftime show) "I don't know. I'm a big Beyoncé fan. My favorite is 'Check Up On It' or 'Upgrade You,' so definitely one of those."
(on his favorite line from Beyoncé's "Check Up On It") "If you got it, flaunt it. Boy, I know you want it."
(on if Ayanbadejo's stance on same-sex marriage is a representation of the entire team) "On this team, with so many different personalities, we just accept people for who they are and we don't really care too much about a player's sexuality. To each their own. You know who you are, and we accept you for it."
(on if he would have a problem with a gay teammate) "Absolutely not. We wouldn't have a problem with it. We don't care. Our biggest thing in the locker room is to just have fun and stay loose. We don't really care too much about that. We're a football team. I said it yesterday; everybody deserves a certain amount of privacy. Who cares? Whatever a person's choice is, it's their choice."
(on if this week has met expectations) "No it hasn't been everything I thought it would be. I thought I would be able to enjoy it, but I'm kind of nonchalant (about) the whole thing. I thought I would be like, 'Oh snap,' a little more breathtaking, but I'm here to work. When you're on the outside looking in, you enjoy all the festivities and you're having a lot more fun and a lot more energy. I can't take my eyes off what I'm really here for. I spend a lot of time in my room studying. I've been here four days and I still haven't been to Bourbon Street yet. My mom and dad got here today with my brothers so I'm going to try and be out there with them, but it probably won't happen until Friday. I wish I would be able to enjoy it more, but I'm still here to work."
(on what player safety means to the NFL) "Especially with me being a defender, we don't want anyone to get hurt. We know the game we play is a dangerous and physical game, but in the same breath, we know what we signed up for. We know this is a contact sport. I'm not talking about the concussion rules and things of that nature. I'm talking about the player's safety; if you want to eliminate hits to the knees on certain positions, you have to eliminate it on all positions for the simple fact that my knees are just as valuable as somebody else's, especially quarterbacks. That's my biggest deal. If they're going to make the rules, make the rules safe for everybody.
(on the effect of the long wait to gametime on Sunday) "I don't think it's going to have any effect on us. It just gives us more time to prepare and get ready."
(on pacing himself until the game) "When it's on, it's on. We can't play the game before the ball is kicked off. We're not going to get involved with the circus. That's pretty much for the fans and all the media. They (team officials) haven't talked to us about it yet. We're a veteran team."
(on why he chose Arizona State) "It was just a hometown team and my dad was really big on watching me play. I originally was going to commit and go to Florida State, but the night before my announcement my family and I decided I would go to Arizona State."
(on the week leading up to the Super Bowl) "It's been a circus, but we haven't strayed off the path one bit. We've still kept our eyes on the goal. We know we're here to play a football game. All of this excitement is pretty much for television and media. We're just doing our part right now, but we're preparing for Sunday."
TIGHT END DENNIS PITTA
(on weight at BYU) "My senior year in high school I was about 185 pounds. and 6-5 so that's pretty skinny. I got to BYU, and I got to about 210, so I was a little bit bigger but very undersized for the tight end position."
(on wanting to be a tight end) "I wasn't anticipating moving to tight end, but quickly after spring they made the switch."
(on admiration of Jerry Rice and Steve Young) "I grew up in southern California so we always watched the 49ers. I was a big fan of Steve Young. He was a BYU guy as well. Ricky Waters, Jerry Rice and that whole crew was a football team growing up so its kind of special to be in this position, especially to be able to go against a team that I idolized growing up."
(on catching his first NFL touchdown pass) "Last season, I played Thursday night football on Thanksgiving day and it was my first touchdown in my NFL career. I happened to come across the 49ers."
(on career growth after first touchdown) "You know, it's grown a lot. I've gotten more opportunities to contribute and I;ve been able to make the most of those opportunities. That's what this league is about. When you get an opportunity you've got to be able to capitalize and over the past few years I've been able to do that."
(on Joe Flacco's contract) "Joe isn't one to worry about contracts, negotiations and all that. I think he is focused on football, which has helped him. He's a confident player. He knows that he's going to go out, play well, and all that other stuff will work itself out. He's played great for us in the post season and really gotten into a rhythm. He's the reason why we're sitting here today."
(on chemistry with Joe versus former QB Max Hall) "I was related to Max so that certainly helped. Max and I were really good friends in high school, college rather, and had a great relationship. I think when you have that kind of relationship with a quarterback it certainly helps. You develop a trust on the field as well, which is important. Although I'm not related to Joe, we're pretty good friends."
(on admiration of Flacco) "He doesn't worry about what other people say. He's been highly criticized throughout his career for whatever reason. He stays confident, consistent, poised and doesn't let anything distract him. That's what I admire about him. He just continues to play well for us."
(on what offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell has done for Flacco) "Jim's done a great job of making sure that Joe's fundamentals are solid. I think as an offensive coordinator he's given Joe an opportunity to get a rhythm in games and get comfortable. You've seen that over this last stretch that we've had."
(on any change in Joe's confidence) "You know I don't notice a difference, he's been the same guy from day one. I think that's what makes him good. He stays consistent and confident all throughout. This time around he's getting the chance to showcase what he's capable of."
(on Flacco's calls at the line of scrimmage) "He's always had enough freedom to make calls at the line and get us in the best possible situation for every play. I think he does a great job of decision making during the play and getting the ball to the right guy."
(on being more productive after a catch) "That's not anything I've noticed. You try and catch it and run as much as you can. I think in college they paid a little more attention to you when you get the ball. You've got a little bit of a tighter window from your coverage I guess."
(on 49ers defense) "We expect them to be very good. They're one of the best defenses in the NFL. Top to bottom they've got talented players all over. We've got our work cut out for us all week, and it's certainly a challenge but we're excited to play."
(on ideal Sunday) "After 60 minutes of football, having that confetti fall on you and know that you're world champions. That would be a perfect outcome for us."
(on playing in the Superdome against Tulane in college) "That was a fun game. I think we had more fans there than they did. So playing in a venue like that is huge, even when it's not packed. Fortunately, I got a little bit of experience playing in that venue."
(on being a vital part of the offense) "You just have to be that much better. You have to be that much more prepared for the looks that they're going to give you. I saw a lot of that in New England. I don't think there was one time where I got a free release off the line. I always had one or two guys jamming me every time. For you to even get in the route, you just have to do a great job on your releases and get away from the guys that are trying to knock you out and take you away."
(on not having to face media again until after the game) "The whole media aspect of the week has been fun actually. As much as we have to do, it can be tiring for some. I got to speak broken Spanish for a bunch of interviews. It's been a good time. It will be nice to get that portion over wthl and really start to focus on this game."
(on any experience as preparation) "The postseason is probably the most experience I've had playing on a stage like this. I didn't play in a BCS Championship game or national championship, so I don't really have any experience there. I didn't really play in any big high school games. You know, we played in a couple of AFC championship games and there's a lot of pressure there just like there will be on this one, but not to this extent. You just have to focus on football and make it about that."
(on 49ers defense compared to last year) "They're real similar, a lot of the same players. Obviously, they've added a great pass rush and all these spins on the outside that wasn't around when we played them last year. The key factor is their ability to get to the quarterback and that's the guy you have to account for. They're better than they were last year, but real similar."
(on playing indoors) "We play a lot of games outdoors. It will be nice to play one indoors. We won't have to worry about the weather, the wind, the cold or anything like that. I think we're all pretty excited about it."

(on helping the team from the sidelines) "I'm just being supportive to the guys. We talk back and forth about what they see before they go into the game or what I might see. Just talking and being there when they need me and most importantly being a leader still."
(on being hurt and not able to play at the Super Bowl) "Just a little bit but it feels so sweet just to make in to the Super Bowl, just to even be here for Joe Flacco to finally reach that spot and Ed Reed after all those years of playing and never making it here. Those guys get a chance for their dreams to come true. Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, I am happy for those guys."
(on Joe Flacco's performance) "I don't know why people are surprised I mean he's winning games and going to the playoffs and having a winning record every year. He's a quiet guy but very talkative in the locker room. I guess he just comes off as a quiet guy. He's a great guy."
(on being on pace for playing next season) "Yes, I am coming back next season and everything is great."
(on being part of the Super Bowl without participating) "I am part of it, I feel a part of it. I wish I could play, but I am happy for the guys. I am happy Joe Flacco could possibly win his first one. Ed Reed, Haloti Hgata, the guys who have been playing a while and never made it. That's why I am happy. You know I am here after four years, and I will have another chance to make it in the near future with the team we have, with coaches we have and the organization we have. We will be back, or somewhere close to being back here, I will wait for the future but we'll be back. Take advantage of the time we're here."
