The Ravens are hiring Tyler Santucci to be their new linebackers coach, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Santucci, 36, was most recently the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech. He was the defensive coordinator at Duke the year before, and the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Texas A&M in 2022.
It's Santucci's first job in the NFL, as he has worked his way up the college ranks after starting at his alma mater, Stony Brook, in 2019.
He played linebacker at Stony Brook from 2006-2009 and was Big South Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. He started his coaching career immediately after.
Georgia Tech had a strong season last year. The Yellow Jackets earned their first AP poll ranking since 2015 after starting the season 2-0. They upset undefeated No. 4 Miami, 28-23, for their highest-ranked win since 2009.
Santucci replaces Mark DeLeone, who spent one season coaching Baltimore's inside linebackers before the team moved on, per multiple reports.
