The Baltimore Ravens broadcasting team, RaveTV, was honored over the weekend with its 17th Emmy award.

RaveTV won the award in the Sports Feature/Segment category for a piece on Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin.

Ravens Report: What Makes Anquan Tick?

"We are thrilled with the recognition from the academy," Ravens Vice President of Broadcasting Larry Rosen said. "Our players and coaches have always been open to sharing the amazing journey of their lives, and we are equally thrilled for the chance to share these stories with Ravens Nation."

In the Boldin segment (shown to the right), which appeared on an episode of "Ravens Report," the receiver's mother shared stories from his childhood and Anquan then reacted to those clips. The stories that she told included describing the time Anquan kicked out his brother's front teeth and also admitting that she is a Dallas Cowboys fan.

"Having Anquan react to the clips from his mom really brought out the human element of the stories," Director of Broadcasting Administration Don DiRaddo said.

The Emmy Awards ceremony was held Saturday at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., and Rosen, DiRaddo, Broadcasting Manager Jay O'Brien, Broadcasting Coordinator Matt Brevet and Production Coordinator Eddie Coughlan were all part of the winning production.
