Running back Ray Rice will address the media Friday.
His press conference will take place at the Under Armour Performance Center at 3 p.m.
This will be Rice's first public remarks since his February arrest on an assault charge against his then-fiancée and now-wife Janay Palmer. Rice has maintained his silence up to this point at the suggestion of his lawyers, who wanted the legal process to play out before Rice commented.
Rice and his wife will both be part of Friday's press conference.
The legal proceedings are now behind Rice as he was accepted into a diversionary pre-trial intervention program this week that allows him to avoid trial and jail time. Once Rice completes the program, the court would dismiss the third-degree charge of aggravated assault.
Rice and his wife have attended counseling since the incident, and the Ravens have praised him for the steps he has* *taken to rectify the situation. The NFL and the Ravens have waited for the legal proceedings to finish before handing down any punishment.
Rice's press conference will be live streamed on the Ravens team app and at BaltimoreRavens.com.
