Billy Cundiff won't* *be too far away.
Two days after being released by the Ravens, the veteran kicker has signed with the Washington Redskins.
Graham Gano (a former Ravens undrafted free agent in 2009) has been released, giving Cundiff the job. Gano, who missed an NFL-high, 10 field-goal attempts last year, had beat out Neil Rackers in training camp.
"I would like to thank the Redskins organization for the 3 years I spent with them. I will miss my teammates and I wish you the best of luck!" Gano tweeted.
Cundiff and the Ravens are slated to meet again on Dec. 9 when Baltimore travels to Washington for a Week 14 interstate rivalry game.
