It looks like all is well between Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. and cornerback Lardarius Webb.
After getting into a scuffle during Wednesday's minicamp practice, Smith is putting the incident behind them by sending a peace offering Webb's way.
Smith extended the olive branch by picking up a morning treat for Webb from Dunkin Donuts. Smith delivered the donuts to Webb with a note on the bag, "Peace offering from 89."
The veteran wide receiver tweeted a picture of the Dunkin Donuts bag, along with the hashtag "#glazeUpson," a play off Smith's famous saying "Ice Up Son."
Peace offering from 89... @LWebb21 everyone loves dunkin. ... #glazeUpson the world runs on dunkin #stevesmith pic.twitter.com/RqLsmdhZpL — Steve Smith Sr (@89SteveSmith) June 19, 2014
Webb and Smith have traded playful barbs since the Ravens signed the wide receiver in March, but Wednesday's skirmish was a more heated exchange. The incident happened after Smith caught a slant pass and then the two players went to the ground as Webb tried to make a play on the ball over Smith's back. Smith appeared to take exception to the way Webb defended him on the play.
They both got in each other's face, with a little shoving, before teammates separated them. After both players cooled off, they continued practice without any other incidents.
