Think Terrell Suggs is excited to be back in M&T Bank Stadium?
He hasn't played there since Jan. 15 in the AFC divisional game against the Houston Texans due to his torn Achilles tendon.
After two games back on the field, Suggs will return home Sunday against the Raiders.
"I feel like it's my rookie year all over again," Suggs said Friday.
"It's my first time playing in M&T Bank Stadium. I'm going to be excited. I'm probably going to be nervous coming out, but I'm always nervous. It's going to be good to play in front of the hometown fans again."
Suggs has been a monster at home during his 10 seasons in Baltimore. He has 49 career sacks at home compared to 34.5 on the road. He's got 18 forced fumbles at home and nine away.
The high-energy linebacker seems to feed off the crowd, and he has frequently talked about his affection for Ravens fans. He said his time away due to the injury has only strengthened that bond.
"When you go through hard times together, when your city embraces you, you definitely have more appreciation for them," Suggs said.
"I love our fans. If you ask me, we have the best fans in the world and that's what I love about playing for them."
