Art Jones was volunteering for a toy drive last holiday season at a Brick Bodies gym when he came upon his sack dance.
It started with a Zumba class.
"I was just messing around in a Zumba class and liked the little cheerleader spirit fingers," Jones said.
Jones has also long been a professional wrestling fan since his youth. He liked the moves from the old school wrestlers, particularly Randy Savage.
"I just kind of mixed the two and came up with my own funky dance," he said.
Jones rears back, squats and stomps two or three times as he waves his arms to the stomps. Then he lets out one big spirit-finger happy exclamation for the finale. Better yet, just watch it. (Mobile users tap "View in Browser" at the top of the page.)
"I'm still trying to come up with a name for it," Jones said. "I'm thinking, 'Time To Get Weird.'"
Jones is playing well this season and already has two sacks. Let's hope to get weird a lot more.
