There's no doubt, Bernard Pollard's a bully.
Now that bully is blinging.
Pollard's the new face of an energy drink, Bully Bling, which recently released a new can in stores with Pollard's name, his nickname "Crushboy" and jersey No. 31.
Pollard was contacted by owner Vic Guido about getting involved, and he jumped at the opportunity. It's not surprising considering Pollard also launched his own app, "Bourre" in August.
The guy is all over the place when it comes to his business ventures.
"I'm trying to take advantage of everything. Bully Bling, Bourre, I've got a lot of things," Pollard said.
"I'm very business minded. I understand that my career, it's a small window. I think for us as football players, we have to think about life after football. We have to think about our families, we have to think about what's going to happen when we don't have football."
Pollard said he's got a few more ideas rolling around in his noggin too. One thing he's positive of is that he doesn't want to be anybody's employee.
As of now, he answers to coaches and management. But when he's between those white lines, it's like he's his own boss (who also answers to Roger Goodell every once in a while).
"I know who I am; I don't like when people tell me what to do too much," Pollard said.
"I'm my own company right now, so I want to do that when I'm done; I want to have my own company. I'm a guy who loves to try things, I love to build things."
