Ray Lewis' legendary speeches are gone. But could another prodigy be on the way?
Little 7-year-old Jacob Harris recited Lewis' dripping-with-emotion Madden speech in a YouTube video that has picked up some web buzz.
This kid is good – real good.
Not only does Jacob have some oratory skills. He has NFL bloodlines and a Ravens connection too.
Jacob is the son of Josh Harris, a quarterback out of Bowling Green who was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round in 2004. Harris spent time on the Ravens' practice squad, but didn't play in a game.
"My sons have been die-hard Ravens fans since birth," the proud papa captioned the video.
"Since I'm a former Ravens teammate of Ray Lewis, they are HUGE fans of his. Check out my oldest son Jacob (and a little cameo of my youngest Elijah) as they deliver Ray Lewis' amazing speech featured on Madden 2013...We'd love for this to make its way to Ray Lewis himself!"
Well no guarantees of Ray seeing it, but hopefully this blog helps. In the meantime, somebody get this kid a contract.
