Ray Lewis is headed to the race track and Ed Reed is going to the Oscars.
Does an offseason after winning the Super Bowl get any better than this?
Lewis will be at NASCAR's Daytona 500 this Sunday to waive the green flag at the prestigious race's start.
I wonder if he'll be talking with 2012 NASCAR champ Brad Keselowski, who watches Lewis’ Madden NFL trailer for inspiration before races.
On Sunday evening, Reed will serve as the Oscars Red Carpet correspondent for the "Rich Eisen Podcast" on NFL.com, conducting interviews with the stars. Knowing Reed's penchant for saying whatever's on his mind, this should be interesting.
Reed is replacing Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on the red carpet, according to ESPNBoston.com. Reed is a close friend of Eisen's, but it's unknown why Gronk was yanked.
