For 13 years, Carolina was all Steve Smith, Sr. knew. He still has permanent residence there.
But Smith is embracing his new home in Baltimore as well. He's figuratively jumped head first into the Chesapeake Bay.
It's good to see considering not every veteran warms up to their new surroundings, especially if they may not be there long.
In town for the Ravens' voluntary strength and conditioning program, Smith went house hunting on the Inner Harbor and dined on some crab cakes with running back Ray Rice at Jimmy's Seafood later that evening.
Smith told me the next day that he enjoyed the crab cakes, as well as some fish. He's a seafood lover. He'll fit right in.
