A trio of Ravens are getting recognized for their impressive seasons by the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA).
The PFWA released its end-of-season awards, and the organization selected safety Eric Weddle, kicker Justin Tucker and punt returner Michael Campanaro to the All-AFC team.
Weddle, 33, can add this award to his fifth-career Pro Bowl selection. He continued to shine in his second season in Baltimore and finished with 63 tackles, eight passes defensed, six interceptions, a touchdown and one sack.
Tucker was snubbed as a Pro Bowler, but he earned recognition from the reporters who cover the league. He made the PFWA team and earned second-team All-Pro nods from the Associated Press.
Tucker connected on 34-of-37 field-goal attempts and all 39 of his extra point attempts. The 28-year-old kicker has never missed an extra point in his career.
Campanaro earned the PFWA nod after quietly having an impressive season as Baltimore's returner. He led the AFC by averaging 10.8 yards per punt return and his 77-yard punt return touchdown was the Ravens' second-longest play of the season.
The slot receiver and return man is set to become an unrestricted free agent after the best season of his four-year career. He also had 19 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown.
The PFWA also released their All-Rookie team Tuesday, and Ravens guard Jermaine Eluemunor made the list. The fifth-round pick out of Texas A&M played in eight games this year and made two starts at right guard.
The PFWA is made up of accredited writers who cover the NFL daily.
